First, we need to know the prerequisites of having a new account for Clash of Clans otherwise it would be tough to maintain multiple accounts.
So when you need to make a new account? To answer this we have some scenarios.
When you want to try or experiment with various layouts and troop combinations without affecting your main village.
Another reason could be starting all over again from the ground up. You can test yourself and see how far you can go with new approaches.
Sometimes we want to join more clans. Managing a second account for another clan or joining a group of friends playing at lower levels can be a quite fine reason to create a new account.
Additionally, you can also have another CoC account as a backup. Let’s walk through the steps and know how can you make a New account in Clash of Clans.
First, ensure that your existing account is linked to a Google Play (for Android users) or Game Center (for iOS users). This will safeguard your progress on the main account so you can easily switch back and forth between villages.
Open the game and go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a device. Link your game to your Google Play account.
Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a device, and connect to your Game Center account.
Once your account is safely linked, the next step is signing out of it.
Open the Clash of Clans app, go to Settings, and click on “Connected” under Google Play Sign-In. Tap "Sign out."
Head over to your device’s settings, find the Game Center option, and sign out from there.
Now, you’re ready to switch gears!
For that, however, a new Clash of Clans account calls for the creation of a new Google Play for Android, or Game Centre for iOS profile.
Launch your phone's settings, then enter Accounts, where you'll add a new Google account. This account will serve as the ID of your new village in Clash of Clans.
Once done, start Clash of Clans; from here, it will ask you to log in using a Google Play account. Use this new Google account you have created.
Open your iPhone/iPad Settings, navigate to Game Center, and sign in using a different Apple ID. This will be your identifier for the new Clash of Clans village.
Now, with a newly created account in Google Play or Game Center, fire up Clash of Clans, and it will ask you to start a new game. Confirm to start a new village, and voilĂ !
You are now at Town Hall level 1, where everything is fresh, waiting for you to begin your magic by creating strategies.
You don't have to choose between your main and new accounts; you can switch seamlessly between the two.
Switching to and from accounts is quite easy; in Clash of Clans, go to Settings and click the option "Google Play Sign-In".
Now, you can select the account you want to play with, voilĂ ! You can now switch between your main and new villages.
Log out of the device settings from your current Game Center account and sign in with the new one. Open the Clash of Clans app; it will load the village that is connected to the signed-in Game Center.
Just like with your main account, you will need to back up your new village in case something goes wrong. Repeat the first step to connect this new account with either Google Play or Game Center.
Setting up a new account in Clash of Clans opens up fresh avenues for growth, experimentation, and challenges. Whether it be to test out new ideas, manage a second village, or just get that fresh start, this guide will walk you through the process in a smooth and effortless way.
